Music is life!

Surrounded by an ocean of notes
Caressing the ivory keys
I feel the pure energy of music

It’s printed in my heart
I hear it in my soul
I feel it in my being

I write a rainbow of notes
Their colours lighten the sky
The Universe smiles in delight

I play it on my piano
I give it to the world
Music is life, life is music

Dew Drops

Magical dew drops
In the morning frost
Adorn my garden
Like wonderful diamonds
With thousands of facets.

Tears of joy flow down my face
As I witness a sunrise miracle.
They gently fall onto the evergreen plants,
Melting the sparkly dew and smiling
At a new day…

Soul Eyes

I see you with soul eyes
that follow you like your own shadow.

The stars gaze upon us
as joined in love’s marriage
we synchronously shine brightly
enough to attract the moon’s attention.

She also witnesses our celestial enchantment
and her dance illuminates our souls as
they await the beginning of a new day.

Dawn is on the horizon
timidly she advances so that
we may admire such splendour.

It’s morning
and while shadows have vanished
our love has remained intact.

I see you with my soul eyes
as she follows you as closely as
your own shadow…

Together they lose themselves
deeply in time beyond night.

Sunrise

There is a change of sound
that first greets the new day,
a silence that is not silent,
as if one is holding one’s breath
in anticipation, but hears
the beat of the heart,
rush of blood coursing through veins.

Subtle light begins to illuminate the inky sky;
pale greys blend behind.
Soft coos play counterpoint
to a single beat of a frog’s
lament, dreams fade away.
Gauzy mists float above
the still lake and swirl
above the trees. The morning
star sends forth its
light of love.

Now comes zig zags of
colors reaching across the sky,
back-dropped by pinks and greys.
Golden light begins to outline
the horizon, trees and my soul.
Slowly at first, the glory of
the sun appears spreading its
promise across the sky.

I stand on top of the hill,
arms open in joy,
music fills me as the
sun salutes the new day
promising God’s love for
all time.

I weep, I sing, I dance,
as music and sunlight fill the
valley, beginning the day with
the splendor of our beautiful world.
The Divine and I are One!
